Life’s great when the things that should work just work. And at the top of the list for most of us is broadband, we can’t function without it. But for something that’s so important why are we still putting up with ‘ok’. Probably, because in reality, the majority of fibre connections also use some copper wire, just like the copper they used to make phone calls back in 1877.
At CityFibre, we’re starting from scratch and building a whole new network for the data age, one that delivers a connection so reliable you won’t have to think about your broadband ever again.
Most of the fibre that’s around nowadays only makes it as far as the end of your street. CityFibre’s cables extend all the way into homes and businesses across the country.
Built from scratch, it’s the most advanced network of its kind tracking and fixing issues as they happen and with almost limitless capacity it can handle whatever you throw at it, now and for generations to come.
Capable of speeds of up to 100Gbps, that’s up to 20x faster than the broadband used by most UK homes and up to 5x more reliable, minimising painful freezes and drop-outs. It’s broadband you can finally forget about, so life can just flow.

The Alan Edward Higgs Charity is the joint venture partner of Coventry City Council in Coventry Ltd, which operates the Coventry Building Society Arena. The Charity supports through its grant making within 25 miles of the centre of Coventry:
• Strategic initiatives that have an effect on large numbers of people over time.
• Projects or activities in particular geographical or thematic areas in order to concentrate the effect of grants.
• The ad hoc needs of groups or organisations with one-off grants.
