2020 Unibet Premier League - February-October 2020

The 2020 Unibet Premier League experienced a five-month break following the season’s opening six league nights, which were held in February and March, and returned behind closed doors in Milton Keynes in August.

The Premier League features nine regular players and a series of nine Challengers who are competing in the opening nine nights. Following Judgement Night, the bottom player is eliminated and the remaining eight players meet once more, before the season concludes with the Play-Offs.

Format

The first nine weeks will see the nine players face each other once in the round-robin phase, in addition to each facing one Challenger. Players receive two points for a win and one point for a draw. Any points won by a Challenger do not count towards the league table.

Following Judgement Night (Night Nine), the ninth-placed player is eliminated. The remaining eight players then meet each other once more over the remaining seven league nights. The top four then players then progress to play in the Play-Offs. The semi-finals are 1v4 and 2v3.

In addition, should any player achieve TWO nine-dart finishes during the 2020 season, they would receive a £50,000 bonus from sponsors Unibet.
