Anne-Marie and Mabel set to perform at Ricoh Arena

Date: 21 Nov 2018

Ricoh Arena is delighted to confirm that solo artists Anne-Marie and Mabel will be performing at Soundscape Weekender on Sunday 16 June to support David Guetta!

The talented singer-songwriters have been added to the new two-day music festival as Coventry prepares for a bumper summer of music in 2019.

Anne-Marie – who rose to fame in 2016 with her chart-topping Rockabye collaboration with Sean Paul and Clean Bandit which sat at number one for nine weeks – has also landed three recent top-ten hits in the UK official charts, including Ciao Adios, Friends and 2002.

Her chart-topping status also saw her support Ed Sheeran on the UK leg of his European tour earlier this year.

Highly-rated Swedish singer Mabel will also be treating the Ricoh Arena crowd to singles including top-ten UK hit Finders Keepers, as well as top-40 numbers such as Ring Ring and Fine Line.

Dan Nelmes, Director at Showtime Live, who are organising Soundscape Weekender, said: “Anne-Marie and Mabel have dominated the airwaves in recent times and are great additions to the line-up.

“They have a range of catchy tunes between them, and who knows, we may even see Anne-Marie performing alongside David Guetta for their recent collaboration Don’t Leave Me Alone.

“We still have five more current, chart-topping acts to announce for the Sunday line-up before we get round to announcing Saturday’s acts, so keep your eyes peeled.

“We’ve had thousands of people register their interest for pre-sale tickets already, and saw a spike in interest after the David Guetta announcement yesterday.

“The high calibre of acts we’ve announced so far is just the start and there will be more of the same, so we’d urge people to get their tickets at the pre-sale price while they can.”

Justine Hewitt, Head of Operations at the Ricoh Arena, added: “Day two of Soundscape Weekender is shaping up to be a stellar day of chart music.

“We can’t wait to see who else the promoter has up their sleeve.”
