Coventry City will kick-off their 2021/22 EFL Championship campaign at home against Nottingham Forest.

The eagerly-anticipated fixture on Saturday 7 August will mark the return of the Sky Blues to Coventry Building Society Arena.

Mark Robins’ side will then travel to Barnsley and Blackpool, before returning to Coventry to take on Reading on 21 August in their second home fixture of the season.

City will travel to Cardiff on Boxing Day but will play twice at Coventry Building Society Arena over the festive period, hosting Millwall on December 29 and Luton Town on New Year’s Day.

The Sky Blues will welcome Birmingham City on 23 November, with West Bromwich Albion visiting the Coventry Building Society Arena on 4 December.

Elsewhere in the Midlands, Derby County will visit Coventry on 23 October and Stoke City on 18 December.

Coventry City close their home campaign on 30 May against Huddersfield Town, marking the final fixture of the season at Coventry Building Society Arena.

Mark Robins’ side will finish the season with a final day trip to Stoke City.
