New pharmaceutical exhibition

The leading ‘free to attend’ pharmaceutical exhibition and conference is moving to the Ricoh Arena and is set to be the largest event of its kind to date.

Making Pharmaceuticals connects industry-leading professionals from around the UK and is set to host more than 120 exhibiting companies and 1,000 representatives from the country’s pharmaceutical sector over the two-day show.

The show, now in its fourth year, will take place for the first time in the Ricoh Arena’s Ericsson Exhibition Hall 2 on Tuesday, April 25, and Wednesday, April 26.

Doors open from 9.00am on both days of the event, with visitors offered a free breakfast snack and hot drink before 10.00am.

This year’s exhibition will include a comprehensive 4-stream conference programme, with over 80 speakers, and sessions from leading professional and educational organisations, as well as presentations from key pharmaceutical experts and representatives.

Making Pharmaceuticals is free to attend and will host companies offering full product development, clinical trial, manufacture, data integrity, regulatory advice, and a wide range of other services.

The exhibition promises to be an effective two days of networking, business and learning – while providing information essential to development and innovation in the pharmaceutical industry.

Clinton Sturdey, Sales Director for Making Pharmaceuticals, said: “This year we are expecting our biggest ever turnout in terms of exhibitors and attendees for Making Pharmaceuticals.

“The Ricoh Arena is a very good venue, it has a lot of top facilities on-site, and it’s within a two hour drive of 75% of the UK population making it very easy for exhibitors and visitors to get to.

“This exhibition is focused on bringing together people from scientific and business development backgrounds under one roof and helping them get the assistance they need in manufacturing and producing pharmaceutical products.

“We’re very excited about the wide -range of content that we will have on offer at this year’s exhibition and being able to bring the pharmaceutical industry to the Ricoh Arena over the two days.”

The 2017 exhibition is supported by 17 industry leading organisations.

Andy Gibb, managing director of the Ricoh Arena, said: “We’re delighted that the organisers of Making Pharmaceuticals have chosen the Ricoh Arena as the venue for their biggest ever show.

“We look forward to working with the organisers in hosting this year’s event and using our experience from hosting other industry-leading exhibitions to help Making Pharmaceuticals 2017 be the best year yet.”
