MILESTONE SMASHED WITH A BANG

5 YEAR MILESTONE

Childcare Expo reached its 5 year milestone at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena with a bang last week as the event brought together early years professionals, sector leaders and suppliers for two busy days discovering new ideas, products and services.

The star of the show was Morton Michel’s friendly and cuddly bear Morton, who welcomed visitors as they arrived and was always happy to stop for a photograph - we just hope the fame hasn’t gone to his head too much!

Event director Emma Barrett has been delighted with the feedback from both visitors and exhibitors to this September event. Reflecting on the recent show, Barrett feels “proud that Broadway Events have been able to put on an exhibition that people want to be a part of. Seeing the feedback from our visitors and exhibitors has been really positive confirming that we are bringing the sector what it wants. In particular, we are pleased to be able to offer the high end seminars at such reasonable prices as this is something that our visitors have told us they really value.”

Alongside the seminar programme, visitors were treated to free workshops throughout both days. On the Friday Natasha Dennis from Little Creative Days kicked off the interactive sessions with her Creative Literacy Workshop whilst on the Saturday visitors got active with Amanda Frolich from Action Club.

Whilst exhibitors rest their tired feet and visitors check out the bargains they picked up at the show, preparations for Childcare Expo London 2015 have already begun. With over 70% of stand for the Olympia based event already sold, the show on the 6 & 7 March promises to be another busy event. However, if London is too far afield, Childcare Expo will be back to Coventry on 25 & 26 September 2015.
