MTV CRASHES COVENTRY TICKETS

Thousands of music fans who pre-registered for MTV Crashes Coventry received priority access ahead of tickets going on sale on Tuesday.(February 2)

Over 6,000 people from across the UK have contacted the Ricoh Arena to register their interest and buy tickets for the spectacular live music event over the Bank Holiday weekend on Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28.

Tickets go on general sale at 6am on Tuesday 2 February for the first MTV Crashes event to be held in an arena. The first day of the event will feature some of the hottest acts in live music. The second day will be dedicated to a Club MTV event and bring together some of the best DJ’s around.

Artists appearing at the Ricoh Arena have yet to be announced but previous acts to have performed at MTV Crashes include Alicia Keys, Kaiser Chiefs, Olly Murs, Little Mix, Jessie Ware, Gorgon City, Example, Tinie Tempah, Foxes, Kodaline, Professor Green, Katy B, DJ Fresh, Kiesza, Lianne La Havas, Oliver Heldens, Steve Aoki and Afrojack.

Andy Gibb, Managing Director of the Ricoh Arena, said the response to the announcement was not surprising.

“MTV Crashes is a huge event and we have been inundated with enquiries from all corners of the UK as well as having international interest which underlines its popularity,” he said.

“Tickets are available from just £10 each day which is fantastic value for money.

“We are looking forward to announcing some big names in music shortly and I am sure there will be another surge in demand for tickets then.

“MTV Crashes will be one of the highlights of the year for the Ricoh Arena and the excitement is already building!”

General admission standing and reserved seating tickets are available for £10 plus fees and hospitality tickets for £50 plus fees at www.ricoharena.com or by calling the Ricoh Arena’s ticket office on 02476 786411.

Disabled tickets are only available by calling the Ricoh Arena’s ticket office on a dedicated telephone line which is 02476 786423. Disabled companions will be admitted for free.

Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult on May 27 and only those aged 16 and over are able to attend Club MTV on May 28.
