NEW PRODUCTS AND THE LATEST INNOVATIONS

New products and the latest innovations are set to be showcased when this year’s National Painting and Decorating Show returns to the Ricoh Arena.

The event, now in its 22nd year, will welcome professional decorators and stockists to the Ricoh’s Ericsson Exhibition Hall on Tuesday, 29 November and Wednesday, 30 November.

The show will feature new product launches, live demonstrations and a full timetable of free masterclasses in two ‘open area’ theatres.

Exhibitors, including some of the sector’s leading manufacturers, suppliers and brands, will be handing out thousands of free samples to visitors and TV personality and DIY expert Craig Phillips is also set to attend.

The two-day event will cover every category in the decorating sector including the products, materials, tools, tips, techniques, textures, colour trends and decorative effects required by contractors and interior designers.

Big names exhibiting include Crown, Dulux, Henkel, Johnstone’s, Wagner Spraytech, Purdy, Hamilton Acorn, Packexe, Bradite and Olfa Tools.

Terry Dullaway, Show Organiser of the Painting and Decorating Show, said: “Each year the show’s list of exhibitors reads like a who’s who of the decorating industry, and the 2016 event is no exception.

“The show will again be buzzing with plenty of new product launches, demonstrations and masterclasses.

“Visitors will have the opportunity to discuss new merchandising materials and promotional programmes and see the unveiling of new products and packaging.

“This includes Tesa launching its new 16-week outdoor-use masking tape, TV personality Craig Phillips unveiling Wagner Spraytech’s new Vector range of airless spray guns, and Bradite introducing its new water-based floor primer.

“The show is also a timely opportunity for material stockists, agents and distributors to fine-tune their decorating departments for the year ahead, meet with existing suppliers and customers and make new connections.

“We look forward to returning to the Ricoh Arena, its central location makes the show easily accessible from all parts of the country, by road and by rail.”

Andy Gibb, Managing Director of the Ricoh Arena, said: “It is excellent see the highly-popular National Painting and Decorating Show return to the Ricoh Arena.

“We always have to ensure that our conferencing and events facilities are up to scratch so have recently undertaken some re-decoration work of our own.

“The fact the event is returning once again is not only testament to the facilities and service we provide but shows we must have done a good job.”
