Coventry City FC update

Coventry City’s home game with Lincoln City due to be played at the Ricoh Arena today has been postponed due to the adverse weather conditions.

While the Ricoh Arena pitch is playable, there were safety concerns for supporters with more snow forecast for later today.

A spokesman for the Ricoh Arena said: “The decision was taken after consulting with the safety team, venue management, CCFC and the police. There were concerns about the surrounding road conditions and access for supporters.

“We will keep monitoring conditions throughout the day before making a decision on tomorrow’s Wasps game with London Irish and will keep supporters informed.”
