Showcasing the latest and most innovative hot tubs, saunas, enclosures, pergolas and steam rooms, SPATEX 2023, Tuesday 31stJanuary to Thursday 2nd February, at the Coventry Building Society Arena, promises to provide a New Year reset button.
Whether dipping your toe into the water for the first time, or looking to upgrade, SPATEX 2023 - the UK’s only dedicated pool and spa show - is your starting point.
Open to the public and free to attend, the world’s leading suppliers and manufacturers will showcase their latest models and innovations, all under the convenience of one roof. See, touch and, in some cases, view in operation, over 40 hot tubs, swimspas and swimming pools and all the peripheral products such as chemicals, tiles and heating and ventilation.
Saving energy is top of the agenda: The industry has worked hard to play its part in becoming more carbon neutral and the show will be awash with products promoting sustainability and energy efficiency, from the latest heat pumps to heat-saving covers. A visit will sure to pay dividends!
Health is wealth: The Brits have really embraced the numerous health and social benefits derived from water leisure. Swim spas, also known as exercise spas, are massively popular and great if space is limited. Offering a counter water current, against which the swimmer exercises, they’re a fun way of working out. So too, are underwater exercise bikes.
All eyes on next summer: Gain impartial advice from the wealth of assembled experts on how you too can turn your house and garden into a haven of wellness and save on expensive foreign holidays.
Michele Bridle, event organiser of SPATEX, says: “The latest generation of one-piece swimming pools is making them easy and quick to install, as well as being more efficient to run. All that is needed is a pre-prepared hole to which the pool is lowered in, this is then backfilled with soil and filled with water and hey presto – your pool is ready for swimmers within a week of installation!”
Free learning: a double seminar and workshop programme offers 46 new topics on the maintenance of pools and hot tubs and promoting new ways of saving energy.
Join in the fun: SPATEX 2023 is set to be the launchpad for the Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA) and British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) exciting Swim to the Beat fund-raising campaign. On the Wednesday of the show, it will all be kicking off on the Aqua Warehouse Stand E2, with a team of swimmers demonstrating a variety of swim strokes including synchronised and mermaid swimming. The campaign invites swim schools, clubs and leisure facilities to participate in fund raising for the month of February – Heart Month. Monies raised will fund vital research into heart and circulatory diseases.
