FAQ

  • We are asking visitors to book their tickets in advance to ensure entry to The Monster is as quick as possible. There will be a limited number of tickets available to purchase on the day, however, these are subject to availability, so we advise pre-booking to guarantee your ticket.

    There is an age limit for this event no under 7’s are permitted to use go onto the Monster

    Day time sessions run 10:00 – 18:00, under 14’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

    Evening Sessions run 19:00 – 22:00 and are strictly over 18’s

  • Autism Friendly sessions for The Monster will take place at the 10am session every Thursday offering visitors with autism and sensory processing disorders the chance to enjoy the rides and to get used to their environment.

    Flashing lights where possible are turned off. Music will be off or turned down low, and there will be less crowds for those with additional support needs to enjoy.

     At the end of each session, visitors to the Autism Friendly sessions are welcome to stay at the event until the session closes, but the music and lights will gradually return to their usual levels.

    There will also be quiet areas available.

    We hope that these measures help as many people as possible to enjoy The Monster.

  • Baby changing facilities are available inside the Arena

    There is a further baby changing facility within the Mill

  • The Coventry Building Society Arena operate a cashless venue. Credit and Debit card taken at all outlets.

  • Please be aware of any loose clothing you may be wearing and tuck it in or remove if possible before entering the inflatable.  Also be aware of any loose items in your pockets such as mobile phones and money as there is a chance they could fall out as you move around.  The Venue is not responsible for any items which are lost or broken due to carelessness.

    Shoes must be removed and socks should be worn at all times

  • All complementary tickets must be redeemed in advance of attending The Monster

  • There are fully trained First Aid staff located within the Arena.  If you require medical attention, please contact any of the stewards or staff working at the event and they will assist you

  • While there are no strobe lights throughout The Monster, there is moving lights around the arena.  If you are concerned about this and need more information, please email info@cbsarena.co.uk

  • Within the arena there are various food and drink outlets, these will be selling everything from Hot and Cold Food to Sweat Treats and Slush Drinks.  The Anecdote Bar and Restaurant at the North Entrance will also be serving a selection of family favourites.

  • We have gender neutral toilets in the arena that can be accessed via a radar key.  Should you wish to use these toilets, please speak to the stewards and they will give you the key to use them.  These toilets are also accessible.

  • There is a discount for parties of 5 or more. Please visit the ticket prices page of the website for more info

  • As this is a family event during the day, a small softplay will be available to children who are under 7 years old, this is not manned, parents take responsible for their children within this area.

  • If you lose your child, please contact one of the stewards immediately.   You will then be directed to the collection point located in Event Office

    All lost children / vulnerable adults will be taken to the collection point located Event Office and held until safely re-united with a parent / guardian

  • All lost property will be brought to the Guest Services Desk in the first instance; please contact Guest Services via email guest.services@cbsarena.co.uk

  • There is a meeting point located in The Mill at the North end of the Atrium.  Please arrange in advance to meet your friend/family here should you be separated during your visit.

    If you lose your accompanying adult or are an adult who has lost their child, please look for a steward or a member of staff who will direct you to the collection point located in the Arena

  • A multi-faith prayer room is available to visitors – please contact a steward on site and they will direct you.

  • It is free to attend as a Daytime Spectator for adults who are supervising their children during a booked session between 10:00 – 17:00. This is based on 1 Adult per Child place booked.

    You are not required to book a ticket for this and will be granted access to the arena to make use of the catering and seating areas within the Arena.

    Additional Adult tickets may be purchased for both daytime and evening sessions by visiting our ticketing page for those wish to take on the Monster.

  • Day Session – The Arena will open at 09:00 and Close 19:00 – Your ticket allows you access 1 hour before your session time and 1 hour after your session finishes – Day Session Visitors must depart the Arena by 19:00

     

    Evening Sessions – The Arena will open from 17:00 and Close at 23:00 for Evening Sessions – Your ticket will allow you access during this period with session running from 18:00 – 22:00 and entertainment starting at 19:00.  You will only be able to access the monster during your booked session, but you can remain in the arena outside of this.

  • There is onsite car parking available at the event, this is chargeable off tariff. 1-3 hours is £6.50 and can be paid at the car park pay stations within the Atrium, South Pavilion or locations next to Car Park A. 

    The Arena operates an ANPR system, failure to pay for your parking will result in a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN)

  • On entry to The Monster, you will receive a coloured wristband.  This will give you access 1 hour before your session begins and 1 hour after your session finishes – Wristbands change colour hourly

    Once you leave the Arena there is no re-entry

  • All ticket are for specific days, and are non-refundable once purchased.  If you purchased your tickets via Fever and wish to change the date of your visit, please visit the website for the ticket agent you booked your ticket with. (subject to availability)

  • Trains leave Coventry Train Station 56 mins past the hour, every hour and depart from Coventry Arena Station 50 mins past the hour every hour

    Trains leave Nuneaton Train Station 37 mins past the hour, every hour and depart from Coventry Arena Station 4 mins past the hour every hour

  • In general audio and video recording equipment and professional cameras are not permitted.  However, small non professional cameras and phone cameras are permitted for personal use.

    Professional photographers should contact info@cbsarena.co.uk for express permission to photograph their event.

    Please be advised that organiser of The Monster will be taking photographs and filming the show for marketing purposes.  By entering the arena, you consent to being filmed or photographed, and the use of such material.  If you do not want to participate or have any questions, please contact us or inform a member of staff in the Organisers Office

  • The Arena is a no smoking venue, anymore found to be smoking or vaping within the arena will be asked to leave.

    Alcohol may only be purchased and consumed within the Arena.  You are not permitted to bring in your own alcohol or alcohol purchased from within the arena must be consumed in the arena.

  • Unfortunately, no dogs or pets are allowed into the venue other than assistance dogs.  Emotional support dogs are not accepted under this policy.

Ticket Prices

Advance booking is strongly advised, and all tickets are booked for a specific day and time slot and are non-refundable - but if you book through The Monster website, you can log in to your order via your ticket provider to swap the date of your visit if you require (subject to availability).

Tickets will be available on the door, subject to availability, however, it is expected that some days will sell out, so please book online if possible as we cannot guarantee availability on the door. Tickets are also less expensive if booked online before 23:59 the night before your visit.

Under 7’s require a free ticket to enter - you can book these online with the rest of your tickets.

TERMS OF ENTRY

  • Tickets are non-refundable

  • On arrival, all visitors must report to the ticket office in the Atrium to have their tickets scanned and wristbands issued

  • Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred, or resold for commercial gain

  • Visitors will not be allowed admission to The Monster without a valid ticket

  • Once issued, wrist bands cannot be transferred to another day

  • Visitors aged 14 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 18 or above) at all times

  • For the safety of all visitors to The Monster, the organisers reserve the right to refuse admission, and bag and security searches may be conducted on entry

  • It is strictly prohibited to bring any of the following items into The Monster including; any weapons, fireworks, smoke bombs, glass bottles or other articles which may cause injury. Any person found to be in possession of an article deemed to be offensive or dangerous will be immediately escorted from The Monster without any right to a refund.

  • Groups of visitors or individuals acting in a threatening or aggressive manner may be asked to disperse, or ejected from The Monster without a refund.

  • The Organisers reserve the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of The Monser due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to temporarily close or change a session without advance notice.

  • Please be aware of any loose items in your pockets such as mobile phones and money which may fall out while riding. The Organisers cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to the Monster.

  • Please be advised that the Organiser's of the The Monster will be taking photographs and filming the show for marketing purposes. By entering the hall, you consent to being filmed or photographed, and the use of such material. If you do not want to participate or have any questions, please contact us or inform a member of staff in the Organiser’s Office.

  • CCTV is in use at the The Monster

  • Audio and video recording equipment and professional cameras are not permitted. However, small non-professional cameras and phone cameras are permitted for personal use only. 

  • Visitors will not be allowed entry if under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances. 

Anyone breaching the terms of entry may be refused entry to, or ejected from The Monster without a refund.
