Coventry Building Society Arena returns to International Confex

Coventry Building Society Arena will be returning to a major international trade show to showcase how it can support the growth and development of events following a recent multi-million-pound investment.

The venue will be joining colleagues from Conference Coventry & Warwickshire on stand H40C at International Confex at ExCel London on Wednesday, March 1 and Thursday, March 2.

Jenni Ford, Director of Sales and Marketing, and Paul Michael, Commercial Director, will be greeting visitors to the stand as Coventry Building Society Arena showcases its sector-leading facilities and exciting plans for the future.

International Confex is the largest gathering of event professionals in the UK, attracting thousands of professionals seeking to build relationships and find a new home for their events.

It will be the first time Coventry Building Society Arena has attended the show since the venue came under new ownership, and the venue arrives at ExCel London off the back of a hugely successful year.

Frasers Group acquired Coventry Building Society Arena in November 2022 and the group will soon reveal ambitious plans for the long-term investment and development of the arena.

The acquisition is part of Frasers Group’s wider investment in the Coventry and Warwickshire region.

The conference and exhibition sector continues to thrive for the venue, with the 60 exhibitions held in 2022 being a record year for the venue. The venue also hosted 69 large conferences, 23 annual awards events and in excess of 230 small meetings.

The venue will also be showcasing its new £6.3 million Commonwealth Convention Centre, which has given event organisers access to 7,750 square metres of space.

The convention centre opened last year and among its features is a show-stopping pavilion gateway on the south side of the venue and a complete refurbishment of exhibition halls and spaces throughout the venue.

Coventry Building Society Arena will also be highlighting its partnerships which bring benefits to event organisers, such as with event production company PYTCH.
