Double award shortlisting for Coventry Building Society Arena
Coventry Building Society Arena has been recognised for its sustainability credentials and delivery of business events after being shortlisted for national and regional awards.
The venue has been shortlisted in the Sustainability category for the MIA List 2024 and for Business Events Venue of the Year at the West Midlands Tourism Awards.
Voting is currently open for the MIA List Award, which recognises outstanding efforts towards sustainability within the UK business meetings and events sector.

The winners are set to be revealed at a ceremony in Liverpool on Thursday, November 7, which will celebrate excellence across the meeting and business event sector.
The venue has also received regional acclaim for its work in the regional business events sector.
It is one of four venues named as a finalist for Business Events Venue of the Year for the West Midlands Tourism Awards 2025, which will take place on Tuesday, March 18 2025.

“We’re consistently looking at new ways to further enhance sustainability at the venue and how we can lead the way for venues of our size, so it is great to have been shortlisted in this category for the MIA List.
“While we have been an established destination for business events for nearly two decades, we have enhanced our offer over the last 12 months and hosted more than 600 business events. Being shortlisted in this category at the West Midlands Tourism Awards is great recognition for the tireless work of our team over the last year.

It builds on an already successful year of awards for Coventry Building Society Arena, after the venue won Operations Team of the Year Award at the Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2024.
Coventry Building Society Arena also won a Green World Award for its sustainability practices within the hospitality sector.
The year has also included being shortlisted in various categories at The Conference and Events Awards, Association of Event Organisers (AEO) Excellence Awards and EN Awards.
