Leading engineering event returns to Coventry
A leading engineering show will return to a Coventry venue this year, with cutting edge innovations and expert speakers set to feature.
The Engineering Design Show is back at Coventry Building Society Arena on Wednesday October 11 and Thursday October, 12.
The event attracts over 4,000 design engineering professionals from across the UK and is the country’s only show dedicated to mechanical, electronics, and embedded design.
The show has been held at the Coventry Building Society Arena since its launch in 2012, and will include a series of free workshops, conferences and exhibitors showcasing to visitors the latest technologies, materials, tools, software and services.
It is a popular event in the industry’s calendar and this year’s eleventh edition has already seen a nearly 40 per cent increase in attendee and vendor registrations.
Over 200 global suppliers will feature in this year’s show, with highlights including a dedicated robotics zone, alongside an interactive VR display from Nottingham Trent University.
The two-day event is sponsored by Powell Electronics, Würth Elektronik and Solid State Supplies – with Dassault Systèmes sponsoring a new networking lounge for visitors to use.
The show features a range of talks and workshops, curated by The Engineer, New Electronics and Eureka, with over 30 hours of expert insight into key industry topics including artificial intelligence, robotics, sustainability, and cybersecurity.
