Paul Smith live comedy show: Everything you need to know

Live comedy is set to make its return to Coventry Building Society Arena with Paul Smith announcing two nights as part of his UK tour.

The Liverpool comedian has shot to fame through TikTok and social media over the last few years and will be performing in the stadium’s Indoor Arena on Friday 31 January 2025 and Saturday 1 February 2025.

The comedy show titled ‘Pablo’ is to be his biggest and funniest tour to date. The dates in Coventry will feature his trademark audience interaction and true stories from his everyday life.

Paul was previously crowned Liverpool's New Comedian of the Year and was also a finalist in the prestigious Leicester Comedian of the Year competition.

What time should fans arrive?

Fans are encouraged to arrive at Coventry Building Society Arena early.

The gate fans should report to for entry is listed on each ticket.

Doors open at 6pm

Paul Smith on stage at 7:30pm, prompt.

Last entry at 8:00pm

Fans are asked to ensure they have their tickets ready on arrival to be scanned.

Are there any age restrictions?

The Paul Smith is a 16-plus event. Young people aged 16 to 18 are only permitted when accompanied by an adult aged 18 and above.

What food and drink will be available?

A wide range of food and drink will be available in the atrium and hall at Coventry Building Society Arena.

How to get to Coventry Building Society Arena

By car

Parking is available at the Arena for the event.

Coventry Building Society Arena operates an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system. Pre-booking parking is essential and should be booked in advance from https://www.cbsarenaparking.co.uk/event/

There is strictly no parking in Tesco at Arena Park for the event, with residential parking restrictions also in place.

Rail

Trains will be operating from Coventry Arena station in both directions between Coventry and Nuneaton.

What can’t fans bring to the concert?

Alcohol and food – there will be a range of drink and food outlets open at the venue for fans to enjoy. The Anecdote will be open from 11am and close at midnight.

  • Professional cameras or cameras with detachable lenses – however, photos can be taken on mobile phones to remember the night

  • Audio or recording equipment, tablets or computers

  • Smoking including e-cigarettes & smokeless e-cigarettes inside the venue

  • Sharp items or weapons, including replicas

  • Laser pens

  • Drugs or legal highs

  • Air horns

  • Flags

  • Any other items deemed inappropriate or unsafe by the venue.

Can visitors bring a bag and is a cloakroom available?

Bags are discouraged to speed up entry. Only bags smaller than A4 size will be allowed into the venue.

The Arena will be operating a cloakroom facility on the evening charged at £4.00 per item.

Where is the ticket office?

All tickets have been emailed to ticketholders ahead of the event. If there are any issues on the evening, visit the box office at the North Entrance of the building.
