Machine Vision Conference 2024 at Coventry building society arena

A world-renowned event which provides insights into the latest cutting-edge machine vision technology will be taking place in Coventry this June.

Machine Vision Conference (MVC) will showcase how machine vision solutions are bringing major efficiency and financial benefits to industries including food, drink, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, automotive traffic and transport.

The eighth edition of the conference will be held at Coventry Building Society Arena on 18-19 June and will bring together 50 of the world’s most forward-thinking companies to demonstrate the latest industrial vision, imaging technologies and innovations.

Machine vision technology is a rapidly evolving area of innovation. It can be used for automated inspection, object recognition and defect detection, which ultimately minimises errors and enables organisations to improve quality and efficiency.

Last year’s event at Coventry Building Society Arena attracted international businesses such as Airbus, Jaguar Land Rover, Nestle UK, Tesco, Vodafone, Sony, Tata Technologies, Unilever and many more.

MVC will also feature a comprehensive seminar programme, covering subjects including deep learning and embedded vision, vision in robotics, understanding vision technology, systems and applications, 3D vision, camera technology, optics and illumination, and vision innovation.

There will also be live demonstrations of new technologies.

Scott McKenna, Chief Operating Officer at Automate UK said: “This year’s Machine Vision Conference will bring together the whole machine vision industry.

“It will be the place for visitors to immerse themselves in the latest innovative machine vision and imaging technologies.

“What’s great about this confex is that it offers something for everyone, from cutting-edge solutions and inspiring seminars to great face-to-face networking.”

MVC is co-located alongside Automation UK, which is organised by BARA (British Automation & Robot Association), at Coventry Building Society Arena.

Jenni Ford, Director of Sales and Marketing at Coventry Building Society Arena, said: “We have an incredibly versatile venue for conferences and exhibitions, allowing us to host two major events simultaneously.

“We look forward to hosting both events in June and welcoming some of the world’s most innovative companies to Coventry.”
