Coventry Building Society Arena Launches New Regional Partnership Programme to Boost Business Growth in the Midlands
A leading Midlands venue for business, entertainment and sport has launched a new regional partnership programme as part of its commercial growth strategy.
Coventry Building Society Arena is introducing a new business club style initiative which will engage with businesses in Coventry, Warwickshire and the wider West Midlands for the first time in its history.
The partnership programme is part of the venue’s continued growth following being bought by Frasers Group and follows the introduction of a new brand identity earlier this year.
Partners that join the new regional programme will be able to access profile-raising opportunities on awareness assets around the Arena, attend exclusive networking events and be able to utilise the venue’s award-winning conference and event spaces.
This will include advertising and brand integration opportunities on screens around the venue and across the Arena’s digital channels, which are seen by the more than 1.2 million visitors to the venue each year.
Partners will be invited to quarterly themed networking events, an annual CEO dinner at Coventry Building Society Arena and provided with a table at the venue’s popular Christmas party events.
The venue has 20,000 sqm of flexible event space and partners in the programme can access meeting and conference facilities at reduced rates throughout the year, with partnership rates also available at the Arena’s hotel.
Coventry Building Society Arena has gone from strength-to-strength since being brought under new ownership.
The reach of the venue’s social media channels has grown to more than 20 million people, while physical visitor numbers grew by 17 per cent in 2023.
It hosted 592 conferences, exhibitions, meetings, dinner and award events in 2023.
The venue launched its new identity and mantra ‘The Best Times Are Here’ in February and investment continues to enhance facilities around the venue, including a full refurbishment of the on-site Doubletree by Hilton hotel.
Ian Birtley, Partnerships Director at Coventry Building Society Arena, said: “Our venue is a central hub for business and leisure in Coventry and has an unrivalled business events programme in the region.
“We are looking to work closely with local, regional and national businesses to help grow their businesses through the utilisation of the awareness assets we have at the arena.
“This programme will be a platform to support businesses through the fantastic facilities we have at the arena, while supporting the next stage of the commercial growth strategy for the arena.
“We recognise our position as a stakeholder in the regional business community and will be working with individual businesses to see how we can best support them.
“This is the first time we have introduced a programme such as this at the Arena, but it has been a successful framework in the past for other stadiums around the country and brought significant benefits for the businesses which have been involved.”
