SPATEX CELEBRATING IT'S 20TH ANNIVERSARY AT THE RICOH ARENA

JAGUAR EXHIBITION HALL FULL TO THE RAFTERS

The UK’s leading water leisure show will be celebrating its 20th anniversary at the Ricoh Arena, starting this Sunday.

SPATEX 2016 is expecting to attract visitors from across the country to the Jaguar Exhibition Hall which will be full to the rafters with the latest stunning models of spas, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs and swimming pools.

The UK’s leading exhibition for the domestic and commercial pool and spa industry is aimed at the public as well as pool and spa builders, installers, retailers, designers, architects, distributors and manufacturers along with staff from local authorities, leisure centres, hotels and holiday complexes.

The show, which will run from Sunday (January 31) to Tuesday (February 2), is aimed at organisations and individuals who are looking to upgrade their equipment or are dipping their toe in the water for the first time.

Michele Bridle of SPATEX said the show was an antidote to the dark nights and cold, wet days of January.

“Exhibitors will have something for everyone’s tastes and budgets,” she said. “All the latest designs and innovations will be on display, from relaxing hot tubs with the latest audio and visual gadgetry to the most beautiful health affirming saunas.

“Apart from being a superb way to while away a few hours taking in all the eye-catching new products, SPATEX 2016 is the place to go for free expertise and technical advice.

“All the industry’s water leisure experts will be there and we have doubled the programme of seminars and workshops to include topics such as energy saving tips and spa and swimming pool fault finding.

“We have also organised a SPATEX help desk to give free and impartial advice and to point visitors in the right direction.

“We are excited to be returning to the Ricoh Arena once again and we are determined to bring a little bit of summer with us.”

Andy Gibb, managing director of the Ricoh Arena, said: “We are expecting over 100 exhibitors and some are travelling from as far as Germany and France which underlines its popularity.

“There will be plenty of experts for visitors to talk to for advice as well as the opportunity to attend a varied seminar programme.

“This will be the third successive year we have held SPATEX at the Ricoh Arena and it looks like this is going to be the biggest and best yet.”

Admission to the show and the seminar and workshop programme is free. Register now at www.spatex.co.uk or just turn up on the day.

SPATEX 2016 will be open on Sunday from 10am-5pm, on Monday from 9.30am to 5pm and on Tuesday between 9.30am-4pm.
