Christmas seems to start earlier each year – and that is certainly the case at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
In 2015, the venue’s events team had their busiest Christmas on record for its Rouge-themed festive parties which took place over seven nights in the Jaguar Exhibition Hall complete with fairground rides, circus performers, a live band, three-course dinner and DJ and disco.
Planning is now underway for Christmas 2016 at the Ricoh Arena with the theme and dates already decided.
The roaring 1920s will be celebrated as part of Speakeasy with entertainment, dinner and dancing on Friday, December 9, Saturday, December 10, Friday, December 16 and Saturday, December 17.
Party planners can take advantage of a special Early Bird promotion by securing tickets for £45.50 per person for bookings confirmed before Monday, February 29. The price will rise to £49.50 from March 1 onwards.
Andy Gibb, Managing Director of the Ricoh Arena, said it was never too early to start thinking about Christmas!
“Our events team love Christmas and we put a great deal of thought into our themed parties to make sure everyone has a night to remember at this popular time of year,” he said.
“Our Rouge-themed parties were a resounding success in 2015 with many nights selling out early and we are confident the golden age of the 1920s will be another show-stopper.
“It will be a case of all that jazz as we recreate the atmosphere of this special decade when fashions were evolving, technology was moving swiftly and it was the start of boom times following The Depression.
“All the sights and sounds from the 1920s will be brought back to life in our Speakeasy Christmas parties which promise to be great fun and to signal the start of the festive season for everyone who attends.
“Having just finished Christmas, it may seem a little early to start thinking about this year’s Christmas parties but forward-planning is the key to making the party nights the best they can possibly be.
“We were delighted with how this year’s Christmas parties went but we never rest on our laurels at the Ricoh Arena.
“Preparations are already in full swing for another December of fantastic entertainment, fantastic food and fantastic service as we organise a night to remember whether you are celebrating with colleagues, family or friends.”
